WHAT WE'VE GOT GOING ON
We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Commercial (Sales & Customer Success) teams in the development and delivery of people programs, process to increase organizational, team, manager and employee awesomeness. In addition to the HRBP responsibilities, this role will have Center of Excellence responsibilities - so it’s a great opportunity to do both company-wide program creation and team-specific project implementation. The HRBP role requires versatility, flexibility, creativity, maturity, influence and perseverance.

To be successful in this role a collaborative approach is essential. You must be willing to seek and incorporate suggestions and feedback from others. It helps if you have prior experience as an HR Business Partner or OD change consultant with experience diagnosing/assessing organizations, identifying root cause, influencing business leaders, and implementing solutions that increase manager effectiveness and employee engagement. Experience scaling an organization through a steep ramp is also a key to success.

A qualified candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative culture as the organization grows and scales. This individual will be able to easily establish credibility with our Sales leaders and understand the Saas space in high growth companies. This is a full-time role located in our Santa Cruz headquarters or potentially in our San Francisco office with travel to Santa Cruz one day a week.

Provide executive coaching to managers and leaders
Partner with org leaders to develop the best org structure, systems, and processes to enable rapid growth
Make our people managers the amazing managers our employees deserve
Foster and cultivate Looker’s unique culture as we grow and expand geographically
Design and deliver company-wide programs for owned Centers of Excellence
Improve employee learning and development, team effectiveness, leadership development, and org alignment
Help resolve conflicts/issues and enable managers and employees to resolve their own issues going forward
WHAT YOU BRING TO LOOKER
12+ years of HR experience. 5+ years experience as an HR Business Partner
BA/BS degree with emphasis in HR or equivalent; MA/MS/MBA degree with emphasis in HR/OD or equivalent preferred
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Demonstrated success in change, project, and program management
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, and leadership skills
Experience in consulting, coaching, facilitation, and organizational design
Experience in/understanding of a SaaS company
Experience working with mid-sized companies and helping organizations scale quickly
Prior successful experience with scaling a mid-to-late-stage startup
Experience supporting global organizations & willingness to travel globally as needed up to 20%
