China is our most important and greatest market and is pushing massively towards electric mobility. Standards and regulations for New Energy Vehicles change rapidly.
Within this fast-growing and developing business of Daimler in China, the eDrive department is continuously evolving. While series production for PHEVs and BEVs will soon be running under full steam, new electric products need to be implemented.
For our High-Voltage team, this means more and more components need local development, but also validation on component and system level.
One very important part is the High Voltage Battery Safety, which includes HVB safety specification, hardware and software validation, and issue analysis of HVB.
China localization battery HV safety release recommendation. China localization battery HV safety performance management, validation, and release. China market HV battery safety issue pre-analysis and troubleshooting. Co-work with Headquarter high voltage battery team to build up China process and structure. Cooperation with headquarter's high voltage battery team for issue troubleshooting and information exchange. Get familiar with all eDrive high-voltage system related topics. Work together with cross-functional departments like product planning, quality, and logistics; set up project milestones and coordinate activities to pursue tight time schedules. Qualifications
Solid fundamental knowledge of high voltage battery as well as strong practical ability. Basic know-how in HV battery safety development and experience in HV battery safety validation testing. Familiar with vehicle high voltage system components (e.g., battery, charging). Familiar with oscilloscope; VNA troubleshooting is necessary. Experience with diagnostic tools (e.g., CANoe, DTS-Monaco) is necessary. Project management skills (i.e., planning and organizational skills) are needed. Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills; German is preferred. Intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels. Willingness to travel within China and to foreign countries.
