This position?s primary location is in São Paulo, Brazil but other potential locations such as Bogotá, Panamá, Buenos Aires or Mexico City will be also considered. This role will require up to 10% travel, primarily in LATAM region.
The IT Lead will work at the intersection of business and technology to help the execution of strategies that combine a deep understanding of business objectives and challenges with technology solutions. This role will help driving the evolution of the Customer Service areas and External Education within the company by supporting the implementation of IT capabilities in partnership with key areas of the company such as Call Center, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Education, and Medical Information, with the mission to elevate the customer experience in a compliant manner. This individual will also work closely with internal support functions, and service providers on all phases of the strategies execution related to External Education.
Customer Service involves external-facing areas responsible for the intake, processing, and fulfillment of customer requests with a multichannel approach. External Education is responsible for scientific knowledge dissemination about our therapies across Health Care Professionals.
In coordination with the GMAIT Manager and in collaboration with other Product line owners as Digital, Data & Analytics, Patient Support Program, Customer & Sales the IT lead will:
Collaborate in the execution of system improvements, and Educational programs across the LATAM region.
Engage business, IT, service providers, and other functional teams to implement new business processes, ways of working, and integrate new potential vendors.
Support the software development lifecycle process of the IT capabilities that support the Customer Service and External Education areas.
What You Will Do:
Partner with the Customer Service and External Education areas to identify, propose, and understand, business process improvements, internal, and external regulations to optimize existing processes, and elevate the customer experience.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications to support the continuous improvements of the systems used by the supported areas.
Identify learning & development capabilities which include mobility, skill set assessment, training metrics and integrations.
Partner with regional and global IT teams to assess, plan, and manage system improvements in alignment with the business priorities, IT capacity, and strategies.
Follow the software development processes to deploy new IT capabilities or improvements on existing ones while ensuring quality and compliance in the deliverables.
Connect with global teams to share and identify best practices that can be applied in the region that contribute to the business process improvements.
Ensure the IT products contribute to the effectiveness, efficiency, and value of the team as well as reliability, compliance, and cost-efficiency.
Connect with IT areas involved to follow up and share the impact on business processes because of incidents on the IT capabilities owned by the team.
Establish, manage, and evolve demand governance processes in close partnership with Business and IT stakeholders.
Develop and maintain effective partnerships with key internal Technology stakeholders (i.e., relevant Business Technology Leaders, Architecture, regional and global Product Line Organizations, Technology Services)
Lead, motivate, and inspire individuals working with and for him/her to deliver on agreed plans and to continuously improve, innovate, and exceed, in adherence with J&J Credo and Leadership Imperatives.

Reporting to the GMAIT Manager, the IT Lead will partner closely with Process Owners, Business Product Owners, and Technology Services to maximize the value of the integrations solution while supporting the development and evolvement of the External Education and Customer Service areas.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent required; preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalents
Relevant experience in defining and documenting requirements - required
Project/Program Management experience delivering small and large-scale projects - required
Fluent English- required
Portuguese or Spanish as the main language
Strong technical focus with expertise
Understand business value and solution needed to maximize IT impact while handling competing stakeholder priorities and ambiguity
This position requires significant engagement/interactions both regionally and globally
Experience with Agile methodology and a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation - Required
Demonstrated ability to apply IT knowledge to solving business problems
Preferred:
Experience in supporting Medical Affairs/Pharmaceutical Commercial business.
Understanding and working knowledge of Commercial and Scientific, Data and Analytics, CRM, and Customer Service solutions
Experience and/or knowledge with Salesforce.com and Amazon Web Service platforms
