Objetivo del puesto:
As an Integration Expert you will Integrate complex solutions, contribute for a better technical offer and reduce the risks of the projects.
A week in the life of an Integration Engineer:
Install and configure the solution on hardware, according to the customer requirements (CRS) and the project plan, and following our company deployment rules and best practices
Review the customer acceptance plan documents and updated if needed
Follow the company process and best practices defined within GGS
Assist the development and validation team during the project
Integrate the solution at the customer site, connecting with customer backend or core network elements
Provide visibility to Integration Technical Leader and Project Manager on his/her work progress (actual and estimated time to complete tasks)
Execute the acceptance test plan with the customers
Write the Operation and Maintenance Guide (OMG)
Reviews the specifications (CRS) and alert on unclear scope
Guarantee the solution functionality according to customer requirements
Provide internal training/workshop to support when necessary
Interface with Technical Leader to audit/define/build the necessary technical coaching of the more junior team members.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Academic Studies: Degree in computer Science, Telecom, or related discipline.
Languages: fluent in English and Spanish needed.
We are looking for someone with 2 to 3 years of experience in equivalent tasks
Technical Skills: Linux/Unix OS; Scripting Bash/Shell, Phyton desirable; Oracle 10/11/12; PL:SQL/SQL language; Log analysis and troubleshooting; TCP/IP protocol and client/server architecture; Veritas Cluster (installation, configuration and design); Understanding of Java EE (language, architecture, concepts) desirable; Network administration tools (switches, firewall, etc.); Tomcat/Apache.
