Role Summary
Assist Accounting Coordinator with the processing and maintenance of accounting activities within the applicable country/countries of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
To support the day to day oversight of the AP, Banking, Payroll, and/or other accounting activities
To support the coordinator with all ad hoc data requests
To prepare and review the monthly general ledger and bank account reconciliations and associated journal entries
To work multiple projects simultaneously, setting deadlines and adjusting priorities
To present results and follow-through to completion for all initiatives

Person Specification
Essential
University studies (at least 3rd year) in Accounting or equivalent education
At least 2 years of related accounting experience
Demonstrates excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
Ability to work with mainframe based tools; proficient with PC and Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization
Ability to deal with confidential subject matters
Able and willing to work flexibly with a willingness to undertake infrequent Domestic and International travel as required
Desirable
Fluent in verbal and written English
Knowledge of airline accounting practices
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP
