IP Network Integration Engineer
Job Responsibilities & Competencies
The candidate will be in charge of IP / MPLS Planning and Integration activities on NI – Network Integration - Team.
Leading and executing validation tests of new solutions (POC);
Creating and testing configurations in controlled environment on customer LAB or Nokia LAB;
Executing pilots (FOC) with troubleshooting during first deployment;
Support outsource engineers on rollout integration activities, controlling and monitoring the quality technically;
Defining and execute assessment activities for live network interventions based on strategies previously defined;
Understand and following customer needs, schedule agreements and cost control responsibility, respecting safety & healthy environmental requirements with high level performance;
According to project needs travelling to other cities and foreign countries is possible;
Provides onsite and back office support for international projects;
Attending meetings and workshops, flexible working according to project needs;
Qualifications
"Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
Ability to analyze, discuss and define project requirements, creating and understanding a workplan to execute a professional services project.
Creative Thinking: able to solve problems on their own using creative thinking, following the Nokia ethics, values and mission.
being reliable and responsible about your roles. following the project delivery process being trust internally and for the customer.
Flexible: be able to work when needed, on whatever project is assigned, focusing to conclude the project described in the scope, with the cost without impact the quality.

Skills:
knowledge on: QoS; IPv4/IPv6 routing, BGP, MPLS, L2 and L3 VPNs, Multicast, Service provider topologies, BRAS/BNG services, Logical solutions for services protection and redundancy, NAT, Backhaul, sync;
Advanced level English language to talk to foreign teams;
Available for local and international travel for 25% of time;
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
Willingness to learn new things with a good attitude;
Customer service, communication and problem-solving skills;
Minimum of 5 years experience in Routing Configuration / integration.
Desirables:
- Medium or high Technical Certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia)
- Experience in Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent), Cisco switches/routers;
- Experience in application and system support;
- Certifications related to Systems concepts related above.
- Project (PMP) process / flow & framework notions at least.
