Position Summary:Responsible for the research, design, implementation, maintenance, and the secure and reliable operation of Paragon Space Development Corporations information systems in support of its business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in the development and implementation of information security procedures, policies, and system security plans.
Prepares status reports on security matters to help develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
Creates, designs, optimizes, and implements integrated security technology platform solutions.
Assist in identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
Conduct and/or support authorized penetration testing on enterprise network assets.
Responsible for monitoring networks for security events and alerts to potential/active threats, intrusions, and/or indicators of compromises, analyze trends to determine downstream impact, and partner with applicable departments to ensure appropriate actions are taken to minimize risks.
Analyze and assess vulnerabilities in infrastructure (software, hardware, network).
Monitor IDS alerts, suspicious emails, network logs, and any resources with network activity.
Administration of SIEM deployments.
Active Directory and Group Policy management, updates, and maintenance.
After hours and on call support required.
Travel may be required for remote office support.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years' experience with information security and data governance required.
Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy.
Knowledge and experience in NIST, CIS, CMMC governance frameworks.
Knowledge of network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles.
Thorough understanding of computer-related security systems, SIEM, firewalls, encryption, password protection, authentication, and security policies.
Knowledgeable about current IT cybersecurity threat landscape
Experience with networking and system administration.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple problems and issues with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must have a teamwork approach to work but also act independently to solve problems when necessary.
Ability to work in complex, diverse environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security +, CISA, (ISC)2 SSCP or CISSP, or NCSP.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.
Experience working within the Aerospace industry.
Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA).
