Development Director

Responsibilities

? Leads a team of direct reports and vendors in delivery of new digital capabilities.

? Provides technical leadership and guidance to department leaders across the

technology organization.

? Maintains up to date knowledge and technology standards.

? Manages development vendors relationship

? Implements modern delivery and QA practices in an agile methodologies

environment, both for internal and external teams.

? Works with Operations and QA in order to:

? Establish KPIs

? Establish coding standards and best practices

? Automate testing

? Implement continuous integration

? Automate deployment

? Communicates status, risks, and offers mitigation strategies to ensure on-time

delivery of all set expectations.

? Ensures alignment with business objectives.

? Is responsible for talent acquisition, retention, and career development.

Qualifications
Requirements

? Degree in Computer Science or related field

? +10 years work experience, +5 years leading development teams

? Proficient in English and Spanish in both written and oral communications. Fluent conversation needed.

? Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage technical teams, including

performance management.

? Experience handling complex projects and coordinating remote teams.

? Exposure to Agile methodologies and Software development lifecycle

management.

? Understanding of major industry trends

? Strong foundation in technology principles and services including infrastructure, applications, application development, data management, security, platforms and consumer facing products
