SU M M A R Y OF ROLE:
The Data Science and Analytics Operations team is organized around world-class data, advanced data science and automation to drive business value for the K-C organization. The Data Visualization Architect is responsible for developing a framework, best practices, and providing work direction to partner organizations on analytical reporting solutions for the relevant business capability or cross capability areas. This role is viewed as an expert in complex analytical reporting solutions, encompassing both business process understanding, technical expertise and advanced concepts in visualization and guided analytic design.
Role will report to a Senior Manager in the Head of Analytics Center of Excellence organization. Role will not have any direct reports. Key Interfaces: Business Partners, Business Analyst, Big Data and Analytics team, Solution Architect, Project Manager, Enterprise Architect and Business Client.
External Interfaces: Consultant and 3rd Party Provider.
Travel may include 10% of work time.
Lead and/or participate in the effort to define and deliver the strategy and architecture for IT services, products, and capabilities for analytical front-end reporting suite using Power BI and Tableau.
Accountable for providing the front-end analytical reporting design, including the detailed configuration that considers how to structure a segment solution based on requirements from the business, global and regional views, as well as the design of standard software configurations.
Delivers front-end solution designs including but not limited to user story, required measures, comparative analytics, recommended tool selection, visualization and guided analytical design.
Collaborate in design reviews and recommend new standards for visualizations. Conceptualize and Design the best fit solution against the requirements
Provide detailed build estimates to the Solution Architect for front-end development.
Translates non-functional and functional requirements into front-end analytical solution designs, ensuring solution aligns with business goals and processes, uses and provides enterprise information consistently, integrates effectively with other applications and supports a common application environment and user interaction model.
Design, develop and deploy performance analytics and visualization systems that provide outstanding performance and experience for the end user.
Is knowledgeable in industry best practices in their area of expertise and uses resources outside of K-C to deliver the front-end technical solutions.
Strong knowledge in business and technical functions that are touchpoints with their area of expertise
Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for other team members.
Work independently to understand business analytics requirements and translate them into solutions that provide optimal user experience, particularly related to FOAK deliveries within business analytics.
Research the BI industry and vendor releases, with primary focus on front-end reporting and analytics with our strategic vendors: PowerBI and Tableau.

Key Qualifications and Experiences :
B.S., B. A. degree. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required
7-10 years of experience in developing Data Visualization solutions which helps provide insights to business.
4+ years of Experience of using Power BI as an Enterprise Reporting Solution
Strong Technical Expertise in Power BI (mandatory). Expert knowledge using advanced calculations and transformations in Power BI.
A dept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements. Sound knowledge of Power BI Security.
Excellent knowledge of connecting Power BI to various data sources. SAP HANA is desirable.
Experience in Tableau is a plus.
Extensive experience in Trouble Shooting, Performance tuning of reports and resolving issues within PowerBI and Tableau Server and Reports.
Experience with UI/UX process in Dashboard Design is a plus.
Possess strong leadership skills and exhibit creative thinking to be able to come up with inventive solutions to solve business challenges
Self-motivated to keep up with industry trends and disseminating information across the organization
Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources
Cultivates networking opportunities within the organization
Broad range of business and IT experiences; Has achieved technical and/or business certification(s).
Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory
