Job Description
The KCP Sales Enablement Team is the IT Engine that delivers compelling and robust capabilities, products, and solutions to Kimberly-Clark’s business and IT by focusing on cost savings, business growth, as well as connecting with partners and customers. As part of this team the Salesforce developer is responsible for the design and development of architecting solutions, designing interfaces, estimating work, building new modules/templates/components, maintaining existing capabilities, and solutions within and integrating to Salesforce.com.
Scope/Categories:
Role will report to a Manager in the Digital Sales organization. Role will not have any direct reports. Key Interfaces: Functional Engineer, Business Client, Data & Analytics team, Solution Engineers. Enterprise Architects. and Project Managers. External Interfaces: Consultants, 3rd Party providers. Travel may include approximately 15% of work time.
Key Accountabilities:
Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical analytical areas with wide range of complexity.Technical architect and leader of small to medium projects for Sales Execution.
Translates non-functional and functional requirements into end-to-end analytical solution designs, ensuring solution aligns with business goals and processes, uses and provides enterprise information consistently, integrates effectively with other applications, supports a common application environment and user interaction model.
Accountable for code quality and Test Coverage within Salesforce.com.
Leverages best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Ability to work in a highly agile environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven design methods
Key Qualifications and Experiences:
Bachelor's degree; 3+ years of experience in software engineering, software development, solution architecture
Experience in end-to-end Salesforce.com implementations, including designing and developing Lightning components.
Working knowledge of technologies (Soap, Rest) and Middleware tools such as Cast Iron or MuleSoft. Jitterbit or Informatica are a plus.
Working Knowledge of Source Control, and Deployment concepts using technologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Jenkins, SVN.
Ability to develop in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning for business components/applications
Knowledge on Rest API configuration, integration, and overall configuration capabilities within Salesforce
Knowledge on Communities, Field Service, B2B Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud preferred
Hands on skills with flows, process builder, and triggers
Adept with data analysis, manipulation, transformation, data cleansing and exchange of data into Salesforce.com
Experience in a development role with at least 2-3 years of that experience including development specifically within the Salesforce and Force.com environments
Digital mindset, self-motivated to keep up with industry trends and apply digital concepts in our implementations such as UX, API, RPA.
Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources.
FamiliarSalesforce Commerce Cloud/Cloud Craze a plus
Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory. Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines.
Salesforce.com Developer certifications are a plus
