Main Duties / Responsibilities

• Developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Do Unit test and Development tests
•Creation of package for releases and deploy in DEV environment
•Writing well designed, testable, efficient code
•Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

•Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications

•Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Qualifications

•Fluent/advanced in english is a must.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
•Proven hands-on Software Development experience
•Proven working experience in Java enterprise development
•Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
•Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
•Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)
•Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, DB2 (Hibernate)
•Experience in the Spring Framework
•Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer
•Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
•Experience with test-driven development
•Knowledge in WebSphere Application Server

Education

Presently attending or better yet with a Bachelor Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related degrees / major.

Other Skills / Abilities

Good Interpersonal skills, open attitude to changes, proactive and being able to self-manage tasks. Excellent time management.

Be accountable and accept ownership of tasks assigned.

Be open to provide and receive constant feedback.
