Job Summary: We are seeking highly-motivated and detail-oriented JavaScript UI developers with 3+ years of experience developing scalable products as well as experience working on enhancement and ongoing feature and maintenance work. Here is an opportunity to be part of developing new products for the next generation of business applications in the Cloud.
Responsibilities
Work with other software developers to design and implement applications using Java code, and enhancements as needed.
Maintain and enhance applications on an ongoing basis per user/customer feedback.
Ensure that unit and system tests are automated, per quality assurance requirements.
Collaborate as necessary to define and implement regression test suites.
Skills
3+ years of JavaScript coding experience for technologies in a fast-paced environment
Strong UI/UX design and architectural skills
Experience in the following areas:
ES6+ vanilla JavaScript
Data-driven web applications
Modern, front-end builds and bundling tools (Babel, Webpack)
Common, modular CSS methodologies and patterns
Promise-based asynchronous architectures
TDD or similar testing methodologies
HTTP/HTTPS, Web Services, MVC, REST, XML, YML, JSON
Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle
Experience with the Agile development process
Additional preferred skillsets that are nice to have:
Node.js experience
Experience working with structured data
Experience in a Modern Front-End Framework (React/Redux, Angular, Vue)
DevOps and CI experience
Flexibility and willingness to pitch in where needed, may mean on occasion helping with other functions (e.g. QA, Operations)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an interest in working in a collaborative team environment
Ability to deliver results, prioritize activities, and to manage time effectively
Ability to create and work in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment.
