Summary of the role

This position's purpose is to lead team and activities to develop and achieve our Hotel and Car bookings and revenue targets in accordance to the commercial plan for BTA accounts. It requires to meet objectives in agreement with the company's commercial policies.
This position partners with our LATAM BTA accounts, hotel and car providers, IT partners, account management teams from these customer segment and with their respective pipeline of customers, and any other related departments in Amadeus, to support the contracting and use of the Amadeus hotel and car content, products, services and solutions, thus securing commercially a full customer hotel and cars adoption experience (development, execution and tracking).

Main responsibilities

- Comply with objectives set, achieving expected revenue, hotel and car bookings , profitability and satisfaction level.
- Identify new opportunities, developing and successfully signing commercial contracts and programs for adoption increase with the customers.
- Initiate, follow up and lead all stages of the sales cycle from prospecting to closure of sales deals, and transitioning to a successful adoption and implementation process.
- Build, develop and maintain structural relationship with BTA accounts and partners, via the related Account Management and other internal customer facing teams in order to develop opportunities, retain and expand the hotel and car business.
- Visiting/calling clients/prospects and performing products demos as required. Liaison/coordinating the various Regional departments to ensure the effcient and compliant sales cycle: mainly Sales Planning, Marketing, Finance and Legal organizations
- Maintain a high level of current knowledge of the product portfolio and the benefits of products for BTA target customer segment, as well as other segment relevant information ( trends, competitors, pricing, etc.).
- Support product launches. Follow up on Post implementation issues that may be detected.
- Develop performance objectives and dashboards for the accounts (ADP - Account Development Plan) , and provide ongoing reporting and tracking of performance to both the customer and the Amadeus organization. Maintain accurate customer information in CRM together with the responsible Account Manager.
- Lead Hotels and Cars team inside of BTA LATAM organization.

Requirements

- Skills and knowledge:
- English

- Years of experience:

- Minimum 5-7 years proven success and demonstrated mastery in a comprehensive strategic selling process from prospecting , selling, negotiating and closing.
- Minimum 5 years travel industry experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years managing external contractors or sales support wished.
- Proven track record in obtaining superior sales results.

- Education: University degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Tourism industry - mandatory
Master Degree in Business Administration wished.
- Others:

- IT knowledge functional level.
- English and Spanish fluent, Portuguese (not a must)
- Ability to Focus, set priorities and make choices. Escalate topics and seek appropriate support with management. Self starter and able to work independently. Seek and reach consensus. Structured thinking. Organizational skills. Good handling of spreadsheets and office material.
