Position Summary: Analyzes and brings together data and information related to assigned projects/processes to articulate the business case for change and to provide input to needs assessment.
Participates in needs assessment process.
Based on defined needs, independently develops work plans for moderately complex initiatives and manages to plan.
In addition to managing plans, develops specific deliverables (job aids, workshops, learning modules, technologies, etc.)
for assigned projects as assigned by project lead.
Also provides recommendations for assigned processes and programs.
Responsible for building specialized knowledge and an understanding and application of leading internal and external practices and consults with/builds related network of contacts.
Consults with and advises Americas People Team (APT) associates, employees and leadership on the goals of programs worked on.
May provide facilitation and other consulting services to a geographic area or service line.
Provides updates and reports to leadership on the quality and effectiveness of these programs and services. Career Level Expectations: Essential Functions of the Job: Surfaces development and learning needs.
Provides recommendations to address any gaps.Participates in the design and development of programs/processes by building on past practices, consulting input and experience.Participates in the analysis of the effectiveness of programs/processes – providing input and evaluating feedback gained through surveys, interviews, metrics, etc.Conducts analysis of programs to make certain there is alignment to firm strategy and goals.Provides coaching in area of work such as: counselor support/training, performance management, feedback, onboarding, mentoring and team effectiveness.Makes recommendations for adjustments to programs/processes as necessary.Remains current on research in the areas of learning design and/or organizational development and effectiveness and makes recommendations from emergent research.Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities :
Applies consultative approach to identify and address business needsStrong knowledge of theory and practice in area of focus (feedback, onboarding, executive development, counseling, etc.
)Exercises judgment in situations that are not routineDuties are varied in scope and require a broad background and knowledge baseDecision making authority is subject to the review and agreement of managerKnowledge and Skills Requirements: Strong project management skillsStrong attention to detailStrong conceptual abilityStrong coaching, consulting and facilitation skillsAbility to support and lead changeAbility to handle sensitive information in a confidential mannerProficient to advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerpointProgressing knowledge in performance management, measurement, feedback, coaching, change management, leadership development and other organizational development technical topics.Supervision Responsibilities: Receives general supervision and frequently works on projects with only periodic updates to supervisor.May supervise junior staffOther Requirements: Travel may be required depending on the specific projects assigned.Overtime is likely required near project deadlines and if events are being coordinated.Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceExperience: 5-7 years of experienceCertification Requirements: Note:
