The Legal Department of JPMorgan Chase and Co is responsible for the provision of legal services to the Corporation and is organized by practice groups that generally align with the Corporation's lines of business and corporate staff areas. This structure encourages legal teams and businesses and staff areas to discuss legal, regulatory and business developments effectively and in a timely manner.
The Office of the Secretary ("OTS") partners with senior management, control groups, lines of business and corporate units to promote effective governance of the Firm, its branches, subsidiaries and affiliates. It operates through a corporate team and three regional hubs, NAMR, EMEA and APAC. OTS also works closely with the Firm's Board of Directors and is responsible for the coordination of Board meetings and materials. OTS has responsibility for the Firm's proxy statement as well as various other public filings and interfaces regularly with JPMC's shareholders on governance matters. In addition, members of the practice group are involved in various industry initiatives to consider best practices for the banking industry as a whole
The OTS Global Strategy Operations team is responsible for the operational functions core to supporting effective Corporate and Legal Entity governance. We are looking for a Business Initiative Lead to be based in Buenos Aires. The incumbent will work directly with management, the program team and technology product owners in the execution of OTS' strategic plans, change agenda and related user training. This function includes, but is not limited to documenting and presenting current and future state process flows and process and control gaps and business requirements that can be used to build user stories. The incumbent will also provide ongoing feedback throughout the Agile process through direct engagement with users, the Product Owners and direct UAT testing. Communication across OTS throughout the Agile process is a key component of this role.
The ideal candidate for this role has 3:5 years of project management, business analysis, process reengineering and operations experience that includes design, development and testing of systems, and an understanding of risk mitigation through the establishment of appropriate procedures and controls. Ability to communicate with all levels of management, build strong relationships across OTS, IT and other business partners.
Has experience in leading process improvement and change management initiatives in an Agile environment
Possesses ability to problem solve critical issues and conduct root cause analysis to understand the essence of key issues and ability to identify solutions
Defines quantitative plans and executes against those plans
Identifies opportunities and provide recommendations to improve the process, develop or enhance controls
Analyzes and applies policy requirements to existing proposed procedures and processes
Leads project meetings across OTS SMEs, Product and Technology, teams
Coordinates requirements using the agile delivery methodology
Partnership with Product Owner and delivery of final user stories to be used for technology development
