The Legal Department has a number of key operations to meet our obligations to various regulatory oversight and investigative bodies as necessary. This includes obligations to regulatory bodies of legal entities, both domestic and international that regulate our business as well as to civil and criminal investigation authorities or adversarial counsel. Legal is organized by Practice Groups that conform to the organization of the Firm’s line of business and corporate staff areas. Each Practice Group has a General Counsel who is the Practice Group Head and who reports to the Firm’s General Counsel. This structure provides the means for the Legal teams to communicate legal and regulatory changes to the business and staff areas and for the lines of business and staff areas to communicate business developments that have legal or regulatory implications to the Legal teams in a timely manner.
The Office of the Secretary (“OTS”) partners with senior management, control groups, lines of business and corporate units to promote effective governance of the Firm, its branches, subsidiaries and affiliates. It operates through a corporate team and three regional hubs, in New York City, EMEA and APAC. OTS also works closely with the Firm’s Board of Directors and is responsible for the coordination of Board meetings and materials. OTS has responsibility for the Firm’s proxy statement as well as various other public filings and interfaces regularly with JPMC’s shareholders on governance matters. We are looking for an MIS Reporting Associate to be based in Argentina and to support the OTS Americas Legal Entity Management Services team.
Position Overview
The MIS Reporting Associate will support the OTS Program Manager focused on Legal Entity Management. The candidate will support various corporate governance functions, program/project management support, OTS key initiatives and business processes.
The MIS Reporting Associate leverages internal tools to perform their daily duties, produce metrics reports, maintain record retention for audit-trail and escalates issues appropriately.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with the project management of internal Restructuring and Capital Action Plans (RCAs) which include, but are not limited to:
Analyzing proposed RCAs for program leads
Monitor general RCA mailbox for requests and issues
RCA transaction assistance (i.e., dissolutions and mergers, dividends, etc.)
Produce daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports leveraging internal tools and distribute to stakeholders
Conduct QC to ensure procedures compliance
Assist with program/project management related to significant and complex departmental and cross-LOB/function for OTS including, but not limited to:
Support manager with semi-annual signing authority process
Provide end-to-end project management support to Attorneys
Prepare monthly reconciliation of internal appointments of directors and officers
Provide project related support, research and analyze legal data as requested
Keep internal calendars, databases and SharePoint sites updated
Work effectively with legal documents, excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint decks, process flows, and project plans
Produce monthly metrics for forums with senior management

Job Requirements
At least 5 years’ experience within the financial industry or related experience
Advanced computer skills (i.e. MS Office Suite)
Strong analytical, research, organizational and relationship building skills
Strong detail orientation
Prior knowledge of Business Objects is a plus
