A leading law firm are currently looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to sit within the Corporate/Commercial department.

As a Legal Secretary you will be responsible for a number of duties. A typical day would include:

- Diary management to arrange meetings and conference calls.

- Booking video/conference calls, meeting rooms and required refreshments, and lunch and dinner reservations.

- Making simple travel arrangements as required, e.g. booking train tickets and collating itineries.

- Handling telephone enquiries in a professional and polite manner, taking accurate messages and following up on any agreed actions.

- Updating weekly spreadsheets to clients.

- Helping with the monthly billing process.

- Assisting with preparation of financial information.

- Collating all indexing on legal documentation and setting up files as necessary.

- Proofreading of all documents to ensure the delivery of work of the highest quality.

- Processing expenses on Chrome River in a timely manner.

You must have:

- Five GCSES (or equivalent) grades C-A*, including Maths.

- Excellent client care skills, the ability to deal with queries from internal and external clients in a professional and polite manner.

- Excellent organizational skills, the ability to take responsibility for own tasks.

- Demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative.

- Good time management skills, the ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy.

- Good communication skills, the ability to communicate in a confident and professional manner with people of all levels of the business.

- Demonstrate flexibility/adaptability in meeting internal and external clients' demands, in both the nature of the work undertaken and working additional hours as needed to complete tasks.

- Reliable with a strong work ethic and a "can do" approach.

- Good levels of IT literacy in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint.
