JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for supervising and performing the repair and maintenance (R&M;) for a Level III LWD R&M; Workshop
QUALIFICATIONS
- Leads, mentors,
and provides supervision for LWD R&M; service personnel and teams at the Workshop.
- Responsible for LWD Workshop R&M; personnel management; plans for personnel changes, forecasts changes in personnel levels, sources local recruits, collaborates with R&M; Work Shop Manager, Regional and Global R&M; Management to review available personnel resources and selects recruits.
- Develops LWD Workshop personnel and tracks their training progress and competencies; must be actively involved in promotion reviews, training planning, and at a minimum annual objective reviews.
- Prioritizes equipment repairs and tool builds per documented requirements in collaboration with LWD Coordinators to meet local demand and delivery requirements.
- Evaluates and documents the estimated repair costs of equipment.
- Ensures all necessary upgrades or modifications are performed as per instructions from LWD Product Engineering.
- Completes an accurate failure analysis in a timely fashion.
- Collects and summarizes Monthly LWD R&M; Key Performance Indicators and provides to R&M; Work Shop Manager for submission to Global R&M; Management.
- Coordinates with Regional and Global R&M; personnel to facilitate an annual R&M; Technical Audit and ensures all corrective actions are implemented and effective.
- Collaborates with Inventory Coordinator and R&M; Workshop Manager to manage the ordering of spares, repairing of parts, and setting of minimum stock levels.
- Collaborates with Inventory Coordinator and R&M; Work Shop Manager to prepare an annual workshop forecast for spares on a quarterly basis to be submitted to Global R&M; Management.
- Collaborates with Regional and/or Global LWD R&M; Technical Specialists as required to solve uncommon R&M; and Reliability issues.
- Ensures all LWD workshop equipment and tools are maintained in good order, all calibrations are up to date, and the documentation for both is kept.
- Keeps the R&M; Workshop LWD Area efficiently organized and equipped with necessary supplies and tools, and clean and free of debris, grease, oil, water, mud, and any other form of trash daily, and paints when needed to keep the shop looking new; maintains an image of a quality workshop meeting Weatherford Drilling Services standards of excellence.
- Ensures all Service Delivery Quality management systems including service records pertaining to LWD R&M; applications are utilized and accurate and up to date - JDE, Reliability, WAM, NCRs,etc
- Ensures all LWD R&M; paperwork and records are accurate, up to date, filled out correctly and completely.
