Magento Cloud Commerce Architect Job Description The Engineering & Applications Team is the IT Engine that delivers compelling and robust capabilities, products, and solutions to Kimberly-Clark’s business and IT by focusing on cost savings, business growth, as well as connecting with partners and customers. As part of this team, this role is responsible for integrating business, information, and technology to create solutions for B2B Commerce application. This role is viewed as an expert in commerce best practices and cloud environments, encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise. Is a Leader in developing innovative, technical solutions to important, highly complex strategic and operating problems and acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for other team members.
Scope/Categories:
Role will report to a Senior Manager in the Engineering & Applications organization. Role will not have any direct reports. Key Interfaces: Functional Engineer, Business Client, Data & Analytics team, Solution Engineers. Enterprise Architects. and Project Managers. External Interfaces: Consultants, 3rd Party providers. Travel may include approximately 15% of work time.
Key Accountabilities:
Lead, develop and support capabilities to the Magento platform
Accountable for the technology decisions around Magento, Marketplace, and Online ordering capability for KCP.
Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical analytical areas with wide range of complexity. Technical architect and leader of large and extra-large to complex projects for Sales Execution.
Translates non-functional and functional requirements into end-to-end analytical solution designs, ensuring solution aligns with business goals and processes, uses and provides enterprise information consistently, integrates effectively with other applications, supports a common application environment and user interaction model.
Ability to work in a highly agile environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven design methods
Global engagement and consulting on ecommerce projects for KCP
Understand System relationships, Integrations, and dependencies to have a complete vision of the capability
Key Qualifications and Experiences :
Bachelor's degree; 8+ years of experience in software engineering, software development, solution architecture
Must be proficient Experience with Magento (Ver 2+)
Experience with Magento Cloud Commerce, ideally holding a role on at least 1 full-scale projects
Knowledge of interactions with an enterprise ERP as well as making use of third-party web services
Working knowledge of API technologies (Soap, Rest) and Middleware tools such as Cast Iron or MuleSoft.
Experience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object-oriented design
Experience in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, Components, and templates
Knowledgeable on Store Catalog (categories/products/attributes) and Sales Orders (quotes/orders/invoices/shipments/credits)
Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources.
Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory. Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines.
Stakeholder Management skill is a plus
Magento Developer certifications are a plus
