Magento Developer Job Description The Engineering & Applications Team is the IT Engine that delivers compelling and robust capabilities, products, and solutions to Kimberly-Clark’s business and IT by focusing on cost savings, business growth, as well as connecting with partners and customers. As part of this team, this role is responsible for integrating business, information, and technology to create solutions for B2B Commerce application. This role is viewed as knowledgeable in commerce development best practices, encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise. Competent in developing innovative, technical solutions with guidance for other team members.
Scope/Categories:
The Magento Commerce Cloud Developer will provide technology thought leadership and come up with solutions that will optimize the ROI, will also need to develop technical artifacts where required (technical specifications, architectural diagrams, database diagrams, etc).
Key Accountabilities:
Coordinate development across multiple functional and technical areas with wide range of complexity.
Translates non-functional and functional requirements into end-to-end analytical solution designs, ensuring solution aligns with business goals and processes, uses and provides enterprise information consistently, integrates effectively with other applications, supports a common application environment and user interaction model.
Ability to work in a highly agile environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven design methods
Key Qualifications and Experiences :
Bachelor's degree; 3+ years of experience in software engineering, software development, solution architecture
Must be proficient with Magento (Ver 2+)
Experience with Magento Cloud Commerce, ideally holding a role on at least 1 full-scale projects
Knowledge of interactions with an enterprise ERP as well as making use of third-party web services
Working knowledge of API technologies (Soap, Rest) and Middleware tools such as Cast Iron or MuleSoft.
Front-end and Back-end development experience is a plus, but one focus area is required.
Experience in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, Components, and templates
Knowledgeable on Store Catalog (categories/products/attributes) and Sales Orders (quotes/orders/invoices/shipments/credits)
Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources.
Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.
Magento Developer certifications are a plus
