To lead our development on this exciting market, RAGT Argentina is recruiting its new Managing Director m/f based at Buenos Aires.
Votre mission :
Reporting to the New Markets Director, the MANAGING DIRECTOR of RAGT Argentina will be responsible for :
Leading the Subsidiary and ensuring all employees share the Company strategy
Setting up the Company strategy in Argentina in conjunction with the New Markets Director
Planning and implementing long term business strategies to achieve Company’s objectives including maximizing the earning potential and global profitability of the Subsidiary
Investigating all growth opportunities to develop our activities and contributing to develop existing customer relationships and establish new ones
Working closely with the Sales Manager to expand our commercial activities by taking advantage of our multi crops strategy (be ready to be directly involved), the Production Manager to optimize our production activities and the Agronomist to organize the product evaluation and understand market requirements
Representing the Company wherever it is needed
Driving market analysis and organizing the reporting on market trends, market requirements, competition, product performance and customer feedback
Setting up new tools and procedures to target maximum efficiency across the business including budgets & forecasts and reporting results to the Board
Votre profil :
Strong background from the seed sector with a minimum of 10 years experience
Good understanding of the Argentinean agriculture market
High degree in agriculture or trade
Natural leader and motivator of people
High level of motivation with strong convincing power
Proven track record of successfully managing a business entity
Business orientated and target driven
Excellent communication skills coupled with good social skills and an outgoing personality
Strong negotiation skills with record of achievements
Analytics skills
Ready to travel across the country and abroad
Fluent in Spanish and English (French will be a plus)
