Role Summary:
The Materials Specialist will be responsible to coordinate, track the shipments. In this role you will work, using your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:
Handle the importation process with freight forwarders and Global Operations Customs
PO creation and management
Keep the ETA dates updated in the system
Ability to work under pressure
Coordinate International Logistics - from supplier dock until GE. Including the broker services for each importation
Develop new indicators of Logistics performance
Look for Freight solutions to guarantee the best lead time and cost
Handle physical inventory – small boxes
Develop local logistics and suppliers
Strong interface with Planning, Project Management and Services

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business / International Trade from an accredited university or college
Knowledge on International Trade system
Fluent Spanish and English
At least 2 years of experience in International Logistics
