Provides full support, and the necessary medical and scientific information according to the "different therapeutic areas in Oncology" for the coordination and development of oncology medical plans aligned with Oncology marketing programs, among others, that promote the fulfillment of business objectives of the Oncology Pfizer products belonging to the oncology therapeutic areas, guaranteeing compliance with Corporate and Local Procedures and applicable regulations.
REQUIRED SKILL SETPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / MAJOR DUTIES:
STRATEGIC PLANNING AND MARKETINGCollaborates during the Oncology product launching process, including participation in the Strategic Planning New Product meetings.Collaborates with the marketing manager in designing the marketing campaigns during POA and throughout the year.Coordinates and advises the oncology team in the development of all activities.Provides medical and scientific knowledge during the development of Promotional Materials and/or activities of the Pfizer products of the assigned therapeutic area.Reviews and validates the scientific content of the activities sponsored by Marketing and of the Added Value programs, together with the Product Manager.Maintains close communication with Medical Associations, Ministry of Health, and Academic Institutions for the follow-up of projects of the Medical and Marketing Areas, including Continuing Medical Education Programs.Develops together with Key Opinion Leaders material for the scientific presentations of the products entrusted.Manages communication to Sales Force, Media, and Opinion Leaders for the Continuing Medical Education Programs.Selects and coordinates the participation of speakers in the Continuing Medical Education Programs where the products entrusted are promoted.Participates in the coordination of the training of the Sales Force and Media regarding the medical-scientific concepts applicable to the Pfizer products of the assigned therapeutic area, including validation of training material.Maintains close communication with the ACT Team members of the Pfizer products of the assigned therapeutic area, actively participating in teleconferences and in the annual meetings PM/PP (product managers/product physician meeting).Provides input and feedback, and collaborates in Market Research activities.Provides medical and scientific support to the Corporate Affairs area in relation to public dissemination of the Pfizer products of the assigned therapeutic area.Key Opinion Leaders DevelopmentParticipates in POA and Pre-POA business meetings.Authors medical papers.Acts as a speaker of scientific information related to the products as needed.Coordinates advisory board and speaker training.Mentors more junior medical staff, providing guidance in Medical Affairs and the company's processes.REGULATORYReviews/validates and approves the updated Local Product Documents (LPDs) and Package Inserts of assigned products in accordance with corporate information and Local Regulatory requirements.Prepares the Medical and Scientific information that will be submitted to national, local, and regional government formularies and listings.MEDICAL INFORMATION AND PHARMACOVIGILANCESupports the Medical Information Center by providing the necessary information on Pfizer products of the assigned therapeutic area as required.QUALITY STANDARDSComplies with Training Curricula.Attends all required training meetings according to established timelines.Has knowledge and full participation in the Inspection Readiness Process and the applicable procedures before, during, and after audits or regulatory inspections.PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS / ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSRegional Medical Lead, Medical Director, Medical Managers, MSLs, Product Manager, Administrative Assistants, Clinical Operations, ACT, Medical Department (Regulatory Affairs, Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance, and Quality Standards Areas, Pfizer Scientific Institute), Sales (training area), Legal, Corporate Affairs, Active lobbying with regulatory authorities, decision makers, scientific/academic societies and industry organizations, Business Technology, Scientific Societies, Investigators, Opinion Leaders, Regulatory Authorities, Health Institutions (public or private), Academic Institutions (e.g., Universities), Vendors, Advertisement Agencies, Call Centers, Customer Care Providers.
