This position is part of the Management Information Desition Support team of APU and Andean region: APU (Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay) and Andean (Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Dominican Republic and USA-AMG) and Chile.The domain helps in to implement a management information framework for supporting all Enterprises across the country(s). This position engages application development for data gathering, CRUD, and user interfaces for financial reporting and budgeting process).
The data scientist will run analytical experiments and evaluate theoretical alternate models. The candidate will analyze processes and systems to extract insights from structured and unstructured data.1: APPLICATION DEVELOPER 50% Build and design back end algorithm for applications. Knowledge and expecience working with languages and libraries (JAVA, Python, C++). Build and design front end for web applications. Knowledge and expecience working with PHP or NodeJS. Experience with React is a plus. Implementing processes that improve and lead to greater data quality. Admin SQL to manage analytics database. ODBC Protocol. Documenting all processes. Experience working with relational DB systems like MySQL/SQLite/POSTGRESQL or related. Experience in REST API services and cloud computing skills is a plus. Executing projects involving analytics applications to provide business solutions and identify opportunities.
2: DESKTOP APPLICATION DEVELOPER 25% Implementing automated processes to gather data from multiple sources and corporate systems. Documenting all processes and research. Programming of MS Excel macros and automations. Knowledge and experience working with robotics/automation tools and programming languages like VBA/.NET framework/AA or related. Mantaining end user desktop applications for data gathering. Knowledge working with MS Visual Studio and .NET framework. Executing projects involving analytics applications to provide business solutions and identify opportunities.
3. BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP 25% Work closely with IT group, business employees, Finance teams and FP&A team to achieve objectives. Properly manage stakeholders as part of the data gathering process and solutions design. Strong project leadership skills and trustful partnership with colleagues and other functional teams to ensure goals.Qualifications
Required Qualifications - Technical Expertise in one or more programming languages (JAVA; Python, C++). Proficient with verbal and written communication skills. Experience in collaborative working. Usage of GIT and repositories management. Knowledge of project planning and agile methods. Ability to travel up to 15% English proficiency Proactive and critical thinking.
