Our client Tax Technology team members work side:by:side with the firms partners, clients and tax technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value:add, improve efficiencies and enable their clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Tax.
They work closely with clients and professionals in the following areas: Federal Business Tax Services, Partnership Compliance, Corporate Compliance, Indirect Tax Services, Human Capital, and Internal Tax Services. They provide solution architecture, application development, testing and maintenance support to the global TAX service line both on a pro:active basis and in response to specific requests.
the company is currently seeking a Manager to join its Tax Technology practice in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Key responsibilities
Coach, mentor and manage a team of high performing developers and tech leads who work on diverse technologies
Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders of IT on program strategies and plans and negotiate quality solutions
Qualification and Experience required
Bachelors / Masters degree in Software Engineering / Information Technology / MBA
An overall 10:12 years IT experience with hands on work in application development and extensive people management skills
Experience working in a globally distributed team environment
Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on service offerings and products provided by IT
Agile Scrum and Project management certification preferred
Experience and understanding of at least one technology stack among the following:
o ASP.Net MVC, Angular and Web API, ASP.Net Web Forms and Win Forms
or
o SQL Server 2014/16, SSRS, SSIS, BI Tools, Tableau, Spotfire, R
or
o Azure : IAAS, PAAS, Micro services, Server less architecture
or
o Robotic process automation using Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere
Good to have (any one):
o Experience leading the design, development and implementation of technical solutions using latest technology stack
or
o Estimation of the architecture design effort and also develop/ review/ approve architecture designs
or
o Be subject matter expert to program/project teams in the plan, design, and delivery of technical solutions
