Network Engineer

For our client, a global IT solutions provider, we are looking for aNetwork Engineer

Our client provides break/fix and managed IT infrastructure services, onsite workforce, technical and logistics services for Global OEMs, IoT, Data Centers & Enterprise IT Infrastructure Providers.
With an extensive network of over 10,000 On-Demand technical field engineers as well as its own service logistics infrastructure with over 600 warehouse stocking locations in the Americas, EMEA & Asia-Pacific (APAC) provides services to over 200+ countries.

Based in Buenos Aires, theNetwork Engineerwill deliver break-fix, provisioning and deployment services to different clients.

Specific functions for the job are:
Rebooting routers, servers, storage devices or other equipment
Providing loop-back cables in order to test circuits remotely
Re-seating or replacing components or cables
Removing Alternating Current (“AC”) or Direct Current (“DC”) power from equipment
Swapping removable storage media
Providing planned maintenance or circuit migration support
Installing Small Form Factor Pluggables (each an “SFP”) or Gigabit Interface Converters (each a “GBIC”)
Troubleshooting hardware problems on any device
Power cycling a router, server, switch and soft-booting a server
Follow Data Eradication process
Provisioning:Install cables or optics for new circuits, Re-connect / disconnect / replace existing circuits, Testing of cables and optics..
Deployment :Physical Cabling, Cable Management, Northbound Cabling, (Fiber/Copper/Power), Rack/Stack/Jack, Installation Support (PDU, Network Switches, etc.), E-Waste and other clean-up activities

Qualifications:

Technical degree regarding Networking (No specific degree in engineering is required).
CCNA certification will be highly appreciated. If not certified, candidates should have experience (6-7 years) in Networking field along with Data Centre experience (2-3 years).
Full English Command is a must.
