Neutrona seeks an experienced Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. NOC engineers proactively monitor Neutrona’s network to identify and prevent customer service disruptions. They follow established protocols to manage incidents, including tracking problem tickets, ensuring effective communications, and escalating issues when necessary. NOC engineers regularly collaborate with other organizations within Neutrona, to ensure effective change management and project and task completion.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Neutrona Monitoring Systems
- Handle and update cases in the ticket system
- Maintain NOC WIKI and technical documentation of processes and procedures used throughout normal operations.
- Become proficient in network and systems administration, particularly regarding Neutrona's own architecture and platforms.
- Understand and follow Neutrona’s escalations process.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience with support & implementation duties within carrier/service provider environments.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure in LAN/WAN environment with specific expertise working with Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, NAT/PAT, SNMP, and MPLS protocols and services.
- Familiarity with MPLS technology and applications such as L3VPN and L2VPN (VPLS/CCC) from a service provider standpoint.
- Experience with JunOS.
- Good knowledge of the global carrier services and service provider marketplace.
- Experience interacting with customers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Intermediate English language skills.
