A large software company is looking for a senior IT director to join their team located in Rosario, Argentina.
As a candidate for this role, you will ideally have a very strong background in software or systems engineering on a wide variety of products, will have excellent technical and analytical skills, will have very strong written and verbal communication capabilities,
leading highly capable teams and have a proven track record of architecting complex software systems.
Technical strengths must include knowledge of software development, agile methodology and testing strategy. Knowledge of medium to high volume consumer products, large production databases, product lifecycles and new product launch processes is strongly desired. Ability to articulate and weight the tradeoffs in software architecture and design based on many competing requirements including cost, schedule, technical necessity and others. System engineering strengths must include the ability to define and refine system architecture for measurement and test strategy systems working with teams of our development partners to meet overall program objectives.
This will be an ideal opportunity to show your strong leadership skills at the organizational level as you work closely with the development and business owners, forming and aligning the software vision of our products. This is a unique opportunity for a Software or Systems Engineer who will bring in a strong technical foundation and great engineering practices, and who is looking for a chance to participate more in the endtoend business decisionmaking process, with its broader scope and vision. The successful candidate will be able to motivate and collaborate across engineering and business disciplines to meet very aggressive cost and schedule goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor´s degree in information Systems or related field
15+ years of related Electrical / Computer Engineering experience
Proven track record as strong, inspirational leader of software engineers and the ability to coach and grow a great team (up to 100 professionals)
Experience focusing on software systems development (agile development)
Experience with measurement system design, development and validation
Experience with medium to high volume database
Experience desired with Relational database and Java Framework
Some international travel
Experience on Atlassian Toolset
Experience on Less Frame work or SAFe
Additional Qualifications
Strong written/oral communication skills

Good judgment
Presentation, and decisionmaking skills required.
