Summary
Ensure on time execution of import & export process, continuous improvement of regular issues, expert on finding strategic partnership with international logistics suppliers.
» Regional KPI´s report out preparation and presentation to Regional Manager & LATAM Logistics Director.
» Validation of annual volumes and expense control.
» Follow up on unusual expenses on root cause analysis and correction.
» Expenses calculation on import & export movements,
determination of annual budget.
» Need to keep the business updated with operational dates for urgent materials.
» Responsible for leading a team away from Argentina, needs openness to work extra hours by leading part of his/her team abroad.
» Being a day to day contact for the Product Supply Director in charge of the region.
» Mindset for leading the change and continuous improvement.
The incumbent is responsible delivering product to internal subsidies and importing on time raw materials to keep the production plan on going, by not generating extra costs
The incumbent's efforts cause him/her to relate with a variety of departments within the company.His/her major contacts include all levels of management from Procurement, RD&E;, Legal, Product Supply, Marketing, Lean logistics,and external suppliers.
Primary Accountabilities:
» On time delivery for his/her clients (internal & external)
» Management for a team located abroad.
» Developing talent within his/her team.
» Compliance with the incumbent country regulations.
» Develop knowledge and skills for the team.
» On time payment for logistics suppliers.
» Participation on strategic regional meetings with product supply colleagues.
» S&OP; process actor,
» New Products launch on time: imported product, imported raw materials, exported product etc.
» Point of contact for International movements requirements.
» Free Trade Agreement specialist for application on its country.
» Internal Audit attendance for processes.
» Continuous improvement initiatives leader for his/her team.
» Report out KPI´s, root cause analysis and long lasting solutions.
Qualifications:
» 4-6 years of experience in similar position, leading a team.
» Understanding of INCOTERMS 2000 and 2010.
» DG specialist, IATA or IMDG Certified.
» Fluent in English/Spanish (Mandatory).
» High level of integrity.
» Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
» Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills, ability to lead, acknowledge, develop, communicate & implement a strategy to ensure compliance.
» Excellent oral communication & report, business correspondence & procedure-writing skills.
» Change agent with energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive change.
» Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively.
» Will work with the highest level of compliance international trade rules and regulations.
Education:
