08The Role: Senior Operations Analyst- Regulatory Reporting

Responsibilities and Impact: We are looking for a someone who can provide exceptional customer experience to a broad range of clients and ensure the fast and effective management of client workflows support orientated individual to join the GRRS Support team.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in communicating with clients, answering regulatory queries and resolving daily reporting issues.
Ideally the candidate will have some experience in mainly North American regulatory reporting – SEC, CFTC, and Canada.
Previous experience with EMIR, MiFID, ASIC, and\or SFTR would also be favorable.The role is client facing and requires a high degree of technical competence.
Dealing with customer enquiries and requests and managing them efficiently and in a timely manner until resolutionTroubleshoot client inquiries and issues involving reviewing client data in different formats, i.e.
excel file, JSON, XML, FpML messages and comparing against our mapping sheets, technical specifications, business requirements to resolve issues or identify system bugsCoordinate with application support and development teams on identifying bugs, issues and testing fixesHelping clients understand how the solution works and how to resolve reporting issuesInvolvement in client training and site visitsEscalate issues in a timely manner and ensure follow and resolution.Assist in validation or UAT for issue resolutionInvolvement in client training and site visitsBasic Qualifications: Client facing experienceFinancial services experience preferred particularly securities finance regulatory reportingKnowledge of transaction reporting desiredAbility to grasp concepts of a technical natureKnowledge of other vendor systems usefulQuerying and extracting data from a databaseUnderstanding of SQL, APIAbility to grasp concepts of a technical natureAbility to read and understand technical specifications, business requirementsMust be an excellent written and verbal communicatorExcellent interpersonal skillsAble to easily adapt communication style in different situationsCommitted to high quality outputHighly motivated, disciplined, confident and a team player.
