The Partner Systems Engineer enables Channel Partners and Systems Integrators who sell Juniper's solutions into Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. The successful PSE candidate will be a self-starter and possess technical skills with Juniper and/or industry solutions, products, platforms and technologies. The PSE must have good business acumen and experience. A deep understanding of Channel/Partner business models and experience with local customers/partners is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include technical enablement and partner training in support of Juniper Partners, as well as pre-sales support for partners and systems integrators. Will collaborate closely with Juniper's Partner Account Manager and territory sales teams, and act as a technical liaison between Juniper and partners' technical teams. The Partner SE will be responsible to develop and manage partner self-sufficiency and keep partner technical sales professionals up to date on new solutions and technologies from Juniper Networks. The Partner SE will drive partner certification in assigned partners and support development of Juniper Champions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum BSc / BEng in engineering / computer science / telecommunications
Working knowledge (hands-on preferred) and deep understanding of data networking infrastructures, architectures, concepts and associated technologies
Relevant experience in several of the following:
TCP/IP
Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.)
Network Management (NMS, SNMP, telemetry, etc.)
MPLS (L2/3 VPNs, Traffic Engineering, etc.)
Data Center and Virtualization (VMware/KVM)
Campus LAN & Branch solutions (SD-LAN, SD-WAN, WiFi, etc.)
NAC and/or security systems & methodologies (FW, policies, IDS/IPS, etc.)
Ability to clearly and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing, complex technical and sales concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision makers
Strong interpersonal, organizational and collaborative work skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Two or more years of pre-sales experience
Experience in partner pre-sales support desired
One or more Juniper Networks Certification preferred (Specialist level desired)
Experience with network management, scripting and automation tools is beneficial
Candidates should possess a proficient understanding of the pre-sales engineering process and sales cycles, as well as routes to market
Experience delivering trainings, demos, proof-of-concepts
