Payments Analyst

We currently need a Payments Analyst to come inboard and help grow our retail payments function. For this role, you will be responsible for the processing of retail payments, resulting from structured loan transactions.

In specific, the key duties of the Payments Analyst includes:

- Processing of payments, including CHAPS, BACS, Cash Clearing and Cheque Clearing.

- Checking and authorising deals and transactions and associated functions.

- Controlling the cash funding process.

- Identify and resolve errors promptly, reporting to Supervisor/Dept Head.

The key skills you must have in order to be successful in the Payments Analyst role include:

- Experience in multicurrency, domestic and international payments.

- Display knowledge of Money Laundering procedures.

- Awareness of prohibited individuals, companies and countries.

- SWIFT, CHAPs and BACs payment processing.

- Microsoft Office skills to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

- Nostro control and SWIFT input/ authorization and monitoring.

- ayment processing - MT103, MT202 and MT303 (Desirable).
