GSF (Global Service Finance)
The GFS organization provides a variety of transactional and accounting services to J&J Operating Companies around the world, operating out of major centers.

Position Description:
This position directly supervises daily activities of payroll operations specialists that perform tasks related to analysis, execution, and overall payroll functions. Ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll processing for all locations under scope by working together with J&J team and the BPO payroll provider for countries where external services are received.
This position reviews and implements guidelines to ensure compliance with all local government regulatory reporting requirements, and also communicates and reinforces key metrics to evaluate performance, processes and productivity. This position requires cross cultural leadership abillities, strong communication skills and timely decision making. Payroll Supervisor will be responsible:
1) Maintains Payroll Service Delivery Model fully operating in all countries under scope identifying process improvement needs and delivering solutions to business requirements.
2) Apply all controls required, review and approve on cycle payroll reconciliations (G2G, N2N, HC), final payments reports for termination processes, off cycle payroll reports, and all transactions related to Payroll monthly performance for all countries / sectors under scope.
3) Ensure accurate and on time deliver of General Ledger reports, BSAR due dates, government requirements, labor liabilities, social security and all payroll related reports for all countries cross sector.
4) Lead audits, reconciliations, interfaces, pay slip compliance , reporting, and fulfillment. Give support to any requirement relating to payroll processes and information for audits, SOX, tax and legal requirements, supports and in general all required data regarding payroll.
5) Maintains compliance with all company, federal, state, local, and other applicable requirements, including SOX compliance
6) Assure understanding of Global Finance Services/ Payroll Operations strategies and its Governance
7) Coordinate for the examination and verification of payroll related data for accuracy and consistency.
8) Assist Regional Payroll Lead LatAm with special projects (Global Mobility process assistance, Metrics improvement, leadership development projects and all other required)
9) Review, follow, and provide input to payroll team objectives. Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Payroll Operations.
10) Seek feedback, continuously learn, and take advantage of opportunities to improve knowledge, skill, and experience. Monitor results to improve effectiveness and efficiency
11) Mentor and guide Payroll Analysts under supervision.
12) Hires, trains, supervises and reviews performance of all assigned staff.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
1) Educación: Profesional Graduado (excluyente) de las Carreras de Microbiología/Biología/Biotecnología/Bioquímica/Farmacia u otras carreras afines
2) Años de experiencia: 3 años de experiencia en el área de microbiología de industrias farmacéuticas o cosmética (excluyente)
3) Idiomas requerido: Inglés intermedio (excluyente)
4) Conocimientos requeridos: técnicas microbiológicas, test promoción de crecimiento, control higiénico, análisis ambientales, análisis de aguas, identificaciones microbianas, validación de técnicas analísticas.
5) Cualidades requeridas: Buen manejo de relaciones interpersonales, trabajo en equipo, Integridad y Honestidad.
