Join us.Job Description:AECOM is seeking an experienced PMO Director for employment in Bogotá, Colombia.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the planning, organization, integration, and control of the development of all activities that the consulting team will carry out and the products to be delivered.Oversee the project management process including governance, team leadership, tracking and monitoring, prioritization, communication, and quality controls.Lead the PMO Services throughout the contract term.Coordinate with the client and Client Project Delivery and Technical Team.Mobilize and manage resources required to support the project.Report regularly on all services provided.Liaise with supporting stakeholders within the client team.Promote collaborative behavior to support the project approach.Manage project teams and coordinators.Manage scope, budget, and schedule, including contract administration, claims, and quality compliance.Support and develop a safety culture within the team and ensure core values are met.Proactively work with the client to identify, escalate, and resolve issues with the contracted services.Lead the delivery of the project team.Ensure the adoption of project procedures across teams.Integrate sustainable practices into project management processes where applicable.Consider environmental and social impacts in decision-making.Qualifications: Professional degree in engineering with specialization, master's, or doctoral studies in Project Management or Business Administration (MBA) + 10 years of experience or equivalent.At least 10 years of experience in management and/or technical management of large rail infrastructure projects, including at least three metro-type underground railway works projects, with a total of at least 20 km of tunnels built with TBM and 12 underground stations.Strong technical capability across all project phases.Experience in collaborative working arrangements and delivering large programs.Knowledge of subway and railway standards and current transit practices.Preferably experience with urban construction environments.Expertise in project analytics, scenario testing, and reporting.Preferred Qualification: 15+ years of experience, including at least five years in a senior leadership role.
