We are looking for a Referral focused Market Development Manager for our Renal Denervation Business. Renal Denervation is an innovative procedure that helps patient lower blood pressure. The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third of adults.

This high level individual contributor role is a unique opportunity to play a lead part in bringing forward a medical device with the potential to transform healthcare. You will manage development and implementation of strategies to drive worldwide acceptance and adoption of the technology by referring physicians, including hypertension experts, cardiologists, and primary care physicians. The role will be the key strategist and implementer of approaches to develop referral linkages around centers performing the procedure. This individual will be a referral market development champion amongst a wide variety of cross-functional team and external partnerships (physician advocacy groups), and will interacting seamlessly with the patient marketing partners, as well as other colleagues.

A Day in the Life

•Assess the market and identify barriers to referrals for the procedure
•Leads development and implementation of strategies and tactics to drive increased adoption of the technology
•Develops objectives, plans, programs, and other cross-functional tactics to maximize the short and long term potential of the global business
•Works closely with Sales, Marketing colleagues, Marketing Communications, Education, and Reimbursement Departments to develop impactful plans/tools addressing all aspects of referring physician needs, facilitating referrals
•Determines appropriate mix of marketing programs and establishes measurement systems to continuously measure effectiveness of each program
•Interfaces with senior management in making business decisions
•Stays on top of current clinical trends/data, and interacts closely with key opinion leaders and referring physician leaders
•Actively participate in the annual operating plan (AOP) process
•Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable; follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree
•10+ years of marketing experience in Medical Device, Healthcare, or Pharma Industry (8 years with Masters)
•Market Development and Project Management experience

Nice to Have:

•MBA
•Experience with referring channel mix – cardiology, nephrology and primary care a plus
•Strong clinical/technical acumen and understanding of company products
•Related experience and knowledge of cardiology space
•Ability to effectively plan, organize, monitor, execute, and measure success of a project
•Proven experience of achieving results through influence and leadership.
•Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
