The Chevron Business Support Center, located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position of Procurement Business Analyst. Successful candidates will join the Procurement Shared Services Center, which is initiating operations in Buenos Aires in 2019. The Procurement Shared Services Center will be part of a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 500 employees that delivers business services and solutions across the globe since 2006.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Candidate will be required to regularly interact with the Global Category Management Team. Must be capable of handling a diverse workload and multiple tasks with accuracy under minimal supervision.
Responsible for conducting business and financial analysis including supplier, spend, market, and decision analyses.
Analyzes supplier activities, market share changes and swings in business and prepare projections on how these may influence future supplier proposals or negotiations.
Develops first cost and total cost models and other related assessments.
Provides commodity-service expertise and support to Category Managers for sourcing, negotiations and contracts.
Develops or assists in the development of category plan documents, business cases, and other presentations with emphasis on clear presentation and interpretation of data gathered.
Supports Procurement-Supply Chain Management teams through benchmarking, cost management, alternative sourcing and supply chain management studies.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
BS degree in Business Administration, International Trade/ technical related field.
At least 3 years of professional and analytical experience. Knowledgeable of procurement platforms and a power user of Microsoft applications.
Demonstrated ability to work and proactively communicate in a team setting. Able to establish customer networks and stakeholder relationships.
Ability to put together clear and concise communication packages for Category Team and upper management, both orally and in presentation.
Advanced English level. Candidates selected for an interview will be required to complete an English assessment test.
