Buenos Aires, Buenos AiresThe Sales Execution Product Owner is responsible for K-C’s overall technology vision, strategy and roadmap in relation to Sales Execution Technologies (Retail Execution/Sales Force Automation/Distributor Management Solution/Sales Force Efficiency/Distribution, Pricing, Shelving and Merchandising) and Scaled Production model. The Product Owner will partner with regional and country sales teams to implement the Sales Execution tools to enable the business and financial objectives both at the region and local market level. The role will provide ongoing technology thought leadership, insights and recommendations for emerging and innovative technologies and define the ongoing roadmap and plan for building, deploying and adopting both enterprise and tactical capabilities that are needed to flawless and Efficient Sales Execution at the Point-of-Sales (Retailers).
The role has close partnership with the Sales Teams (Regional and Local), Sales Business Partners and the Sales Council to define and create Sales Technology products, manage ongoing technology investment budget as well as exploration and evaluation of new technologies & partnerships needed to become the best Sales Execution in the marketplace (Perfect Store, Perfect Order and flawless execution). The role has a deep shopper-centric mind set and ability to apply understanding of the breadth of interactive & sales technologies in service of that, as well as be well connected with ongoing digital innovation, tools and platforms related to sales execution.
Scope/Categories
Key Interfaces: Regional Sales VPs, Market Sales Directors, ITS Sales BPs, Regional IT BPs will be the Product stakeholders and the role will work with a team of Delivery Engine Leadership and software vendors. The scope will tackle all KC categories (cross category capabilities) for the sales function. Within Sales the scope is mainly on the focus is on Sales Execution at the Point of Sales technologies, mainly retail execution, store monitoring, sales force effectiveness and efficiencies, sales analytics (predictive and prescriptive).
Key Accountabilities
Partner with product stakeholders to develop and maintain the strategic vision and priorities for the product (process and technology aspects)
Define and own product ROI, including budget and/or P&L, to maximize the value of the product over its life cycle
Act as an entrepreneur, performing market and competitive analysis to inform product innovation
Partner with product stakeholders to manage feature and deployment roadmaps and measure and manage market adoption
Manage vendors to influence software roadmaps and delivery of features based on agreed SLAs and pricing models
Provision technology, including vendor research, request for proposals, and partnering with Procurement on vendor selection and contracts
Build relationships with internal and external service providers and support teams to ensure operating efficiency and stability
Perform customer follow-up and maintain healthy customer satisfaction scores
Other: * Decompose the strategic vision into releases comprised of minimal viable products * Actively guide and inspire the team around the vision and the feature priorities * Manage stakeholder expectations and requests for product changes * Articulate the strategic vision into tactical user stories * Create, manage, and prioritize product backlog to streamline execution of product objectives * Ensure that volume of work flowing to team optimizes team performance * Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
Key Qualifications and Experiences
Bachelor's degree, ideally in IT or a business discipline
Domain knowledge around the products owned by the Product Owner (Sales Execution)
Experience with capability/product development, including visioning, roadmapping, feature prioritization and go to market strategy
Ability to maintain ROI / budget / P&L
Ability to inspire a team to act as a small business jointly accountable for its product
Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration at all levels
Experience as a change agent at multiple levels of an organization
Experience on an Agile team

Must excel at pro-actively identifying and implementing new tech platforms into the org (e.g. Saleforce.com, Digital Merchandizing, Image Recognition, AI, Crowd-sourcing, etc.), can build a high level of credibility and demonstrate strong initiative to move the organization in a new direction to:
Be the face of technology for Sales Teams and bridged any gaps between Sales and IT
Be a core member of the Leadership team for Retail Executions and Field Sales technologies. This requires someone who can lead and hold their own with the sales leadership, sales teams, sales business partners and Regional IT leaders.
Deep understanding of and experience with Sales Technologies for CPG companies, including innovations as image recognition, digital merchandising, sales force effectiveness tools, etc.
Extensive experience working with CPG companies or sales technologies vendors
Extensive expertise in educating sales teams on technologies
Excellent relationship management skills (collaboration, facilitation, communication) and the ability to engage business team members using business and industry terms
