Description
This position is responsible for playing a key and active role in developing and implementing the ZAR Production Strategy in order to guarantee the production is aligned with the areas with major interface (Costs, ESH, HR, Quality, Planning, Business).
Manage the production of the unit on a daily basis;
? Prepare LRP / annual budget and overseeing production costs;
? Prepare investment plan in the unit;
? Responsible for the technical and behavioral training plan for engineers and supervisors.
? Responsible for implementing and maintaining engineering standards, maintenance, health, environment and safety of areas under his/her responsibility;
? Manage and monitor indicators of production productivity;
? Guarantee the implementation of ESH policies in order to reduce risk and accidents.
? Work as a partner for the Planning Strategy looking to guarantee the integration with the production drives;
? Manage the cost of the unit (budgeting, forecasting and headcount control)
? Assure legal plant compliance (permits, SOX, etc);
? Be responsible for the development and engagement of the direct and indirect reports - Leading the discussion processes of people and development of plans for strengthening human skills;
? Be responsible for performing the cascade of global processes and procedures
? Assure good relation with local UNION
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA in Business or Production Processess(optional); Strong experience in leadership (Manufacturing or Corporative) - Minimun 4-6 years.
Required Knowledge:
Strong aptitude and proficiency in MS Office products; including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
Knowledge in Lean, 6 six sigma process and cost control, Safety management, High Harzadous Materials, Union Negotiation, Project Management, Supply Chain knowledge
