Mondelez International is looking for: Production Scheduler & Call Off

- Description
The Production scheduler & Call Off coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials in the production line according to daily and weekly production schedules. Also is responsible by the short term (frozen period) material deliveries at the plant buffer warehouse to support the manufacturing excecution. Duties includes reviewing and distributing production, materials inventory levels and shop floor problem solving.
- Responsibilities
o Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet manufacturing production orders scheduled into the Master production plan.
o Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply to manufacturing lines from the buffer warehouse at the plant.
o Responsible for optimizing the materials flow to the manufacturing lines intluding inventory handling optimization practices such as Kanban, lot sizes definitions and inventory line balancing.
o Create short term / Detailed production schedule and process orders for manufacturing resources optimization. Analyze and prepare process orders sequencing based on Supply Planner priorities inputs.
o Maintains the production schedule on Shift-to-shift basis to support manufacturing executing and rescheduling if needed.
o Prepare status reports about weekly Compliance to schedule, work in process, and shop floor R&P inventories visibility.
o Interacts with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or demostrated capacity simulations from Manufacturing.
o Optimize daily Vendor deliveries to meet manufacturing production orders scheduled into the Master production plan and Procurement Plan defined.
o Create and manage short term weekly delivery schedule with the Plant Warehouse and vendors for ensuring inbound material delivery execution based on procurement plan recieved from Materials Planner.
o Monitor shipments to ensure materials inbound on time, and shipments tracing visibility reports for measirung Inventory availability and undelivered exceptions.Prepare status reports about weekly Supplier Delivery performance and short term R&P short fall exception.
o Interacts with Production Schedulers, Vendors and Materials Planners on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding to materials deliveries included into the short term inbound plan.
o Track purchase orders delivery completition in the shot term to support the manufacturing cost execution, Warehouse optimal resources usage and the MPS stability.
o Data analysis and decision making to support raw material availability at the buffer warehouse at the plant. Analyze and prepare receicing sequencing based on Production Scheduler and Materials Planner priorities inputs.
o Support the warehouse periodic raw goods inventory counts / audits for ensuring the accurate MRP inventory records.
- Academic Knowledge
• University Degree
- Working Knowledge
• Functional Work Experience (Manufacturing / Supply Planning) - CPG & Over three years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Drive for cross-functional results by proactively understanding and managing key issues & success criteria, and prioritizing accordingly
• Experience with ERP software required.
- Competencies
• Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills, analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
• Deal with ambiguity / conflict management.
- Abilities
• APICS CPIM certified or similar accreditation - preferred.
• Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
• English is desirable.
