Facebook is seeking an experienced Program Manager who is passionate about the way Facebook can work with startups and developers to drive real-world outcomes. You will focus on building and scaling programs to help developers and startups in the region to build and grow their businesses. You will engage with the region's most exciting companies, VCs, Accelerators/Incubators, and developer ecosystem as well as with our world-class Facebook Platform product and engineering teams. In addition, you will work cross-functionally with the Policy, Legal, Marketing and Operations teams to help startups and our partners succeed. This role is based in Buenos Aires.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help drive and execute the Latin American strategy for Developer Circles and FbStart • Maintain direct and active relationships with developers and startups on our platform, manage local partners, deliver support and content to actual and new LatinAmerica programs, proactively resolving business, technical, and policy issues and serving as an internal and external advocate. • Manage high-touch and low-touch engagement programs and events • Set, track, analyze, communicate, and execute against key program performance metrics • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, business development, partnerships, policy, legal, marketing, and PR to launch programs and execute them • Willingness and ability to travel 25-50% of the time
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS Degree • Experience in program management, partner management, or equivalent work experience • experience in engaging with the developer and/or startup community in Latin America • Developer and/or startup event organizing experience • Presentation experience • Experience translating developer and startup needs into strategic plans and vice versa
