Project Manager – Medical Sales

Manages the operations of Contract Sales & Medical Solutions, contributing to the development of business unit. Works closely with sales team and account management team to guarantee profit targets, high quality project deliveries and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

· Manage the operations team (field and virtual medical reps, MSL’s, nurses, educators, BI analysts and their specific supervisors) in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.

· Participate in the selection process for new staff by conducting candidate review and participating in the interviewing process. conduct on-boarding training for new staff in conjunction with Human Resources and training programs.

· Ensure that staff have the proper materials, systems access and training to complete job responsibilities. Provide oversight for the execution of the training plan.

· Plans, schedules, directs, controls, monitors, organizes, secures and manages resources to bring about the successful completion of projects specific to a client. Provide oversight for the execution of the projects.

· Optimizes the productivity and efficiency of operating processes. Identifies and implements potential process improvements.

· Ensure key financial performance milestones are achieved and provide regular feedback on the financial performance of the projects.

· Attend customer meetings when required and provide regular feedback on the performance of the projects. Prepares/presents project and process related reports.

· Assists with development of commercial proposals and quotes.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

· Good understanding of Pharma Market and related procedures.

· Understanding and general knowledge of health service at both national and local level in terms of structures, organization and procedures.

· Fluency in relevant software such as MS Office skills.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Proven management skills.

· Ability to manage conflicting priorities.

· Ability to monitor and plan to meet project objectives.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.

Minimum required education and experience

· Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least 5 years’ total experience in Pharmaceutical industry. At least 2 years’ line management experience (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).

· Experience working with Sales Force Effectiveness. Knowledge of CRM.

· Advanced English (desired).

Physical requirements

· Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.

· Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.

· Regular sitting for extended periods of time.

· Availability to travel (up to 20% of the time).
