As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help the company deliver exceptional quality service to their clients, win in the marketplace and support the company’s growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge and Risk Management.
As part of their Americas Tax Technology Group (ATTG) you will be part of a technology organization that develops and maintains innovative solutions for their client-serving Tax professionals.
The Quality Assurance Specialist role is in the Solution Delivery pillar. The main function of this pillar is to develop and test solutions created to support the Americas Tax Practice.
What are you going to do?
Responsible for quality assurance testing of solutions as established by Quality Assurance Lead
Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, colleagues and/or customers
Assist in the development of quality assurance and testing policies, standards and procedures, processes, and best practices
Contribute to program/project review meetings. Support Quality Assurance Management in determining status, assessing problem areas, suggesting and reviewing corrective actions, directing/planning necessary extra work, and rework and re-plan activities
Support the onboarding of new team members
Work within quality assurance frameworks to ensure stability, efficiency and scalability
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other IT services, IT solution functions and customers to expedite delivery of IT solutions
Conduct tests and undertake analysis of results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and/or client and technical requirements
Apply a variety of analytical and presentational techniques, in consultation with experts if appropriate, and with sensitivity to the limitations of the techniques
Accepts responsibility for creation of test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications—such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability and portability
Creates traceable records, from test cases back to requirements
Produces test scripts, materials and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services
Execute automated tests and undertake analysis of results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and/or client and technical requirements
Interprets, executes and documents complex test scripts using agreed methods and standards
Records and analyses actions and results, and maintains a defect register
Provides reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with the overall project
Reports on system quality and collects metrics on test cases
Controls, updates and distributes new and revised quality standards

Experience with Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Quick Test Professional (QTP) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Experience with TFS, VSTS, Jira or related issue tracking and project management tools
Ability to work independently and determine solutions with minimal supervision
Occasional overnight travel may be required
A bachelor’s degree ( computer science, engineering, accounting, finance preferred) or equivalent work experience
2-4 years of relevant experience
Shift: Monday to Friday 9-6PM
