At this point we are hiring for a React Frontend Developer, who could be based anywhere in Argentina (remote/ work from home).
THE ROLE
You will work for a successful American creative agency with offices in New York and Los Angeles, which had the privilege of working with some of the largest and most iconic brands and launching over two dozen digital-first brands.
You have a knack for coming up with creative solutions to unique problems and a propensity to write clean and performant code while keeping to deadlines.
You stand out from other developers by your ability to make beautiful designs that come to life through code. You are accustomed with building out modular templates using modern CSS techniques and efficient, modular JavaScript, while taking responsibility for your code’s performance across devices and browsers. You have an eye for detail. You are a team player at heart, and you take pride in your client facing skills. Learning new technologies and tools is your second nature. You are generous when it comes to sharing your knowledge and you are unafraid to take smart risks and push the envelope as you implement designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Integrate into team settings typically found in a fast-paced agency environment
- Build stable and maintainable codebases using React
- Work directly with clients and third-party developers
- Build out modular templates using modern CSS techniques and modular JavaScript
- Take responsibility for the code’s performance across devices and browsers
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of professional web development experience
- Use of modern CSS techniques including pre-processors, critical CSS, and implementing polyfills when necessary
- Experience writing React front-end state machines
- Documented experience writing clean, readable, well-documented and modular JS
- Experience with JS React frameworks required
- Experience with responsive and cross-browser development and testing
- Experience with the Liquid template language
- Concise communication skills (verbal and written)
- Fluent English
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Templating languages (Moustache, Handlebars, Twig, etc.)
- Experience working with Shopify, Magneto, or other e-commerce platforms
- Experience with WordPress, Drupal, or another CMS
- Experience with A11y development
- Experience working with design comps in Sketch
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 /month
