Work location: Olivos (zona norte GBA) Accountabilities To maximize Amgen’s value propositions by establishing peer-to-peer relationships with OLs and members of the scientific community for scientific exchange and research projects within a therapeutic area according to the SEP.
To comply and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations related with medical affairs activities
Responsibilities
To identify and map of OLs/decision makers and sites in accordance with segmentation for scientific projects on assigned compounds. Take the lead in medical market exploration, assessment and scientific related activities for compounds in an investigational setting.
To develop and maintain collaborative long-term relationships with OLs & HCPs and relevant members of the scientific community.
To provide scientific and educational information on Amgen products/pipeline, as well as, engage in scientific discussions related to Amgen compounds/pipeline with OLs to support the exchange of scientific information and understanding of new scientific principles, trends and scientific debates
To support speaker training as requested and ensure the speakers are updated on new data
To execute scientific engagement plan according to annual RML goals and metrics
Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers, providers, key stakeholders, advocacy, and access enablers, in collaboration with HEOR & market access.
To increase awareness and provide scientific support of the Amgen clinical research/trial program to enhance patient identification and trial accrual.
To provide research site recommendations based on site feasibility and quality for Amgen sponsored clinical trials.
To identify potential research collaborations and implement scientific projects of value in accordance with global/ regional/ local medical strategies (i.e. IIS proposal)
To serve as an important strategic internal partner by gathering, analyzing and providing continuous input on OLs feedback which may impact development or access of the Amgen Portfolio.
To compliantly collaborate with cross functional colleagues. May serve as main of point of contact
To report adverse events and/or product complains according to Amgen’s procedures
To complete required training in a timely manner
REQUIREMENTS:
University health related degree (Medical degree preferred)
Advanced degree (e.g. PhD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training
Previous experience within Medical or Scientific Affairs in oncology (preferred)
Previous teaching experience (preferred)
Clinical or scientific expertise in the area (preferred)
Knowledge
Advanced level of oral and written Spanish and English
Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to adapt, organize, prioritize and work effectively on multifunctional teams in a constantly changing field based environment
Comprehensive knowledge of therapeutic area
Working knowledge of the local Healthcare System and relevant guidelines of the pharmaceutical industry
Project management skills
