Working as part of the Global Infrastructure Ratings group, under the guidance of a senior analyst, you will be responsible for a portfolio of rated issuers within transportation, energy, power, renewables, and utilities asset classes.
ResponsibilitiesWith mentorship from senior analysts, collaborate with the sector team on ongoing surveillance of rated issuers.Perform fundamental credit analysis, forecasting, and industry analysis.Contribute to financial modeling and write-up of research used for reviews and publications.Support an environment of innovation and maintain high standards of customer service.Basic QualificationsUnderstanding of financial statement analysis and accounting concepts.Ability to quickly analyze and act on information, with proficiency in numerical analysis.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints.English language proficiency; additional language skills, especially Portuguese, are highly desirable.Preferred QualificationsProficiency with VBA, financial modeling, and financial data analysis.Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, MATLAB, Python, R, or VBA.Previous experience with data analysis and familiarity with SQL and databases like Oracle, Sybase, or Access.About Our CompanyS&P Global Ratings is the world's leading provider of independent credit ratings.
