Retail Sales Associate

YOUR MISSIONAccountable for ensuring individual performance consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective customer service.Provide high standards of customer experience within the store, aligning with PUMA's Brand Values and service standards.Complete all required training programs, both domestic and global, to drive results within the store.Participate in Loss Prevention education, training, and awareness programs.Ensure Loss Prevention and operational compliance within the store.Communicate merchandise opportunities to the Store Management team.Participate in new store openings and closings; travel may be required.Process sales transactions accurately at the cash desk, operate POS system properly, handle tender forms with accuracy, and apply discounts when applicable.Execute and process incoming and outgoing merchandise efficiently.Maintain visual merchandising guidelines and ensure the store's visual presentation meets or exceeds PUMA standards.Maintain the physical condition of the store according to guidelines and communicate maintenance needs promptly.Comply with all policies, procedures, and operational competencies.Maintain a safe and compliant working and shopping environment; report any issues to management.Work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as required.The base pay for this position ranges from $16.50 to $19.50 plus benefits (401k, PTO, discounts).

YOUR TALENTOne to two years of experience in a customer service-oriented retail environment, preferably apparel or footwear, with a results-driven track record.Proven ability to exceed sales goals, preferably with experience in a commission-based role; strong customer service skills; effective communication; ability to present to groups.Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, twist, climb, and lift up to 30 pounds, including working at heights using ladders or step stools.Maintain organization and cleanliness of sales and stock areas; operate foot controls for mobile shelving; exposure to working at heights.Use of senses: speaking, hearing, vision, depth perception, and field of view.Critical cognitive skills: reading, basic math, writing, problem-solving, and computer skills.SPEED & SPIRIT define our values: BE DRIVEN, BE VIBRANT, BE TOGETHER, and BE YOU.
