We are looking for a Scrum Master , to take our photo crowd-sourcing platform to the next level. The ideal candidate is smart, analytical, self-driven, excited to foster the growth of Olapic, and generally awesome to be around. The right person enjoys working in an open and collaborative environment and must be willing to take initiative, propose ideas and see them through.
What you'll be doing:
Acting as a team facilitator and constantly focusing on leveraging the team on agile principles, while keeping them focused on the goals of the development Iteration.
Collaborating with the team to succeed in areas such as quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
Providing support to the Product Manager in the efforts of managing the team backlog and guiding the team while facilitating a healthy intra-team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
Collaborating on aligning projects to business goals communicating with stakeholders, and providing visibility of project status and milestones by monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating or escalating corrective action where necessary.
Encouraging the team to manage project risks, including the development of mitigation plans.
Helping with eliminating impediments and blockers with the objective of keeping the team focused on achieving the sprint objectives.
Building a high-performance team focus on continuous improvement of team dynamics and performance by escalating people problems to management when necessary.
Promoting the team to improve their approach towards continuous delivery, designing solutions based on incremental or immediate releases based on customer's or market demand.
Helping the team to take responsibility for their actions by leveraging their autonomy, facilitating team retrospective and encouraging them to be problem-solvers.
Collaborating with the Product Manager on monitoring and keeping the product KPIs on track and making them accessible for the entire organization, highlighting and sharing to the engineering team those having special relevance for the group.
Addressing cross-team-dependencies by having close relationships with all of them, focus on leveraging communication with the objective of improving the current project and Olapic’s platform and generating cross team synergy
What we're looking for:
+3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
Experience with Agile methodologies
Fluent in English.
Have led simultaneously more than 2 teams with outstanding results relying on Agile frameworks and artifacts.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong communication, negotiation, process, analytical and presentation skills.
