Senior Accountant

Our client, an important start up of the banking area, is looking for a Senior Accountant with
strong experience in a leadership position, ideally in a client facing and process-driven
environment.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and plan all activities related to the issuance of Accounting Statements of the bank and its consolidated statements in order to provide reliable and timely information to financial entities and shareholders.
- Accounting Management.
- Relationship management with External Auditors.
- Achieve compliance with accounting closing, requested by the bank.
- Coordination of accounting closing and reporting.
- Bank Reconciliation Control.
- Control of fixed assets.
- Preparation and analysis of monthly operating income statement and monthly cash flow statement.

Requirements

- Degree with major in Accounting.
- At least 5 years experience in a recognized and reputable accounting firm or banking industry.
- Independent, self-motivated, well-organised and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills and critical mindset, capable of examining and analyzing accounting and business information with business acumen.
- Sound knowledge of tax relevant regulations.
- Excellent English written and verbal communications skills.
