WHAT WE'VE GOT GOING ON
As a core member of Looker’s Value and Insights team, you’ll serve a foundational role in how Looker measures and presents the business value and ROI of its solutions. Working directly with Enterprise Sales and Success counterparts, you’ll help create repeatable frameworks for benchmarking, analyzing and presenting value across different verticals.
As Senior Consultant on the Value and Insights team, you will hone strategic, analytical, research and consulting skills while measuring and communicating value for some of the world’s largest brands. Senior Analysts and Consultants are expected to contribute ideas for novel, meaningful organizational initiatives and collaborate on thought leadership and market analysis.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
Act as a key member of account teams with Sales and Success for our enterprise and mid-market customers
Attend client meetings in person and virtually to conduct in depth discovery on the customer’s current and future states and positive business outcomes
Conduct custom ROI analyses and business value assessments that leverage data from discovery, KPI benchmarking, industry and academic research, and averages from other customers
Master the Looker product suite to constantly iterate on and improve our proprietary ROI model, including ideating new formulas when necessary
Present the results of analyses clearly to a broad range of audiences and answering questions about the research confidently
Build strategy documentation for clients and prospects around data modernization and continued adoption of the Looker platform
Engage directly with prospects and customers to educate them on the business value Looker can provide
Keep up with Looker product updates and certifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO LOOKER
At least 5 years prior experience in business analysis and/or consulting role focused on business intelligence, SaaS, e-commerce, or internet-based services
Experience building financial and/or economic models
An excellent verbal and written communicator: experience presenting data and findings to clients and/or consulting preferred
A self-starter with demonstrated flexibility and creativity when facing challenging problems or projects; ability to adjust to the changing priorities of a quarterly Sales cycle
Highly analytical and well-organized, in both thought process and mindset
A storyteller, passionate about helping customers identify and activate strategic business objectives
Collaborative and open; hungry for feedback and mentoring
Passionate about driving insight from data
Curious to learn, enthusiastic to share and teach
Undergraduate degree in business, economics, and/or field focused on quantitative analysis (e.g. mathematics, engineering, sciences) preferred, but not required
