Senior Data Engineer

Position at a GlanceThis position is at Evalueserve Chile and is within an existing Risk and Compliance Data and Analytics team that supports a leading US financial services firm.Responsibilities may include:• Delivering research results and recommendations to senior-level clients• Providing insights and developing strategies about data structures as well as providing support to the client over a wide array of business initiatives• Designing and leading complex projects that generally span multiple products/business lines/functional areas/data sources and may involve complex ETL processes to support data reporting, analytics, and visualization• Being directly involved in the technical buildout and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc.• Leading project teams, mentoring lower-level staff, and managing small teams• Being a key contributor to the team by working directly with business partners to analyze requirements as well as design and develop solutions for ETL and data management projects• Collaborating with the client and acting as a lead developer/designer for data projects while supporting the client’s risk and compliance department in projects involving surveillance analytics and modeling, product and investment risk, and regulatory issues• Designing and maintaining data structures in support of BI tools, including data marts and analytical cubes
